Author of “Loving YourSelf FREE of Charge:
Clearing the Emotional Blocks That Stop You!

Lying in her hospital bed on a cold snowy night in December of 2002, Adara An D’Rianna thought she was dying. What she learned then, and honed in a series of near-death experiences over the next seven years, saved her life. In her ground-breaking new book, Loving YourSelf FREE of Charge: Clearing the Emotional Blocks That Stop You!, Adara shares what she learned as a series of simple, playful tools and tips that anyone can apply to clear the emotional charge that shows up every day in their lives and businesses.

Inspired first by the home-health care nurse who watched other patients dying of the same infection and told her to write this book, Adara An D’Rianna is passionate about helping people free themselves of the charge that limits their vitality, and blocks them from living the life of their dreams.

Now a well-respected executive coach, author, and speaker, Adara has inspired executives in a number of industries to achieve break-through levels of creativity and performance: “My passion is helping entrepreneurs break-through their energetic and emotional blocks, to create the kind of future we all want to live in. It never ceases to amaze me, whether we track energetic blocks from a performance issue in their business, or from issues in their physical and emotional body, how quickly people can manifest results when they truly clear their limiting charge out of the way.”

Adara’s journey provided unusual preparation for her life’s work. As the daughter of an internationally respected writer/20th-Century literature professor and of a shipping company executive, Adara grew up with a fascination for both personal and business development. Graduating from college Summa Cum Laude, with dual degrees in Business Administration and Education, D’Rianna joined a major corporation, where she ultimately became Vice President and General Manager of a new business development subsidiary. In 1991, six months after an unsought, but profound spiritual awakening, D’Rianna was fired from her executive job “at will,” and began the next stage of her journey.

With the luxury of time and a large settlement to cover her expenses, D’Rianna made the radical life-choice to turn down any offers to reenter the corporate world. She realized that she had spent her entire life as a high-achiever in meeting others’ expectations—without ever really discovering what she was passionate about herself. Deciding to consciously open her intuition by traveling across the United States without a plan, D’Rianna set out to find out through experience what she authentically wanted.

“I spent two months traveling around the US, allowing each intersection to be a moment-by-moment inspiration to consciously choose a new direction. It changed my life. I met people and had experiences I could never have had any other way. When I came back home, and unpacked the daily journals I’d written and all the books I’d bought along the way, I realized that what tied it all together for me was a deep fascination about what enabled people and businesses to truly transform. Two days later, I applied to study Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology at the Center for Humanistic Studies.”

D’Rianna’s journey in the decade before her near-death experiences took her deeply into the transformational realm. Becoming a Psychologist, LLP (with a Specialist’s Degree in Humanistic and Transpersonal Psychology), D’Rianna formed her own company, “Transformation Technologies,” and worked with both corporate and individual clients.

“With my corporate clients, what I loved most was helping non-profit firms with meaningful missions go beyond their limited resources and find creative ways to manifest their visions. With my individual clients, what I loved most was witnessing someone breaking through their pain and previous limitations, choosing to open up more of their vast human potential.”

All that ended in a mid-western hospital on Christmas Eve in 2002. “I couldn’t work for seven years. I spent all my time, and nearly all of my financial resources, supporting my healing. My journey took me to a healing center in Brazil, then to Montana, and finally to a mountain cabin in Mount Shasta, California, where I spent two years primarily in prayer and meditation.”

Today, Adara An D’Rianna shares the insights she gained from her transformational journey as an executive coach, speaker and author. “It is my deepest desire to take everything I learned very much the hard way, and distill it into fun, effective tools that people can use to improve their lives and their businesses quickly. With the level of pain and fear I see in the world today, it is my hope to get these tools into the hands of as many people as possible. Together, we can support each other in ‘loving ourselves free of charge,’ and consciously co-create the kind of world we all want to live in.”
