Diane Tegarden, an author of four published books, lives in Pasadena, with her husband and four cats.
She’s been a print journalist since 1992, writing on a wide range of subjects including; renewable energy, environmental concerns, holistic health, women’s issues, and Native Spirituality. Her work has been published in: The Pasadena Star News, Security Sales Magazine, The Pasadena Weekly, The Solar Flare, The Feral Forest, Earth Luvyrs Calendar, The Daily Sundial, the West Coast Well Being and Health Breakthroughs.
Her company, FireWalker Publications Inc. was formed in 2004 to promote her passionate, original written works. She’s written for two online content producers, Yahoo Content and Examiner.com as a Pasadena Restaurant Reviewer.
In April 2004, she published her first book, “Getting Out Of Limbo– A Self Help Divorce Book For Women,” which provides step by step instructions on how to achieve financial and emotional independence in preparation for a divorce. The book is in its second printing, now titled “How to Escape a Bad Marriage – A Self Help Divorce Book For Women”.
She released her first poetry book, “Light Through Shuttered Window”, as an eBook in December 2007. The 90 page book is a compendium of her poems about life, love and the process of creativity.
Her third release “Anti-Vigilante and The Rips in Time” (2009) is a unique science fiction novel set in the distant future with its hooks deep into renewable ocean energy and the changing face of the planet.
She recently published her 4th book “Budgeting on a Dime- 10 Steps to Financial Independence” in October 2012. It is a self help book for people who want to get their finances in order, and start living within their means.
