Jan Janzen is a breast health activist. A best selling author she has just released her fourth book Breast Health Exposed: 21 Secrets Most Doctors Will Never Tell You About Your Breasts. The book has been endorsed by medical doctors, naturopathic doctors and is already receiving rave reviews from women who know there is a better way. She’s earned a national reputation as an author and a specialist in Developmental Education as well as an expertise in the accreditation of colleges and universities in the continental U.S. and Puerto Rico.
She began her career as an English teacher in Freeport, New York. (She married her boss!) She realized the needs of her students in the area of literacy and decided to pursue a Masters Degree in Reading Instruction. She entered the Doctoral program in Reading and Learning Disabilities at Hofstra University.

Chamein Canton author of Down That Aisle in Style, began her fascination with weddings and event planning as a little girl growing up on Long Island. By the age of three she’d already made her first of many wedding cakes. Once she became a teenager she often found it hard to pass bridal magazines without taking a peek. A born romantic, she married early and subsequently gave birth to twin boys, Sean and Scott, in May of 1987. Although her marriage ended in divorce, it didn’t dampen her love of weddings, and after many years working as a paralegal she decided to follow her heart — she started her own business, Creative Elegance Catering and Wedding Consulting.

Almost everybody’s life has been touched by diabetes. At the age of 21, Ron Brown worked as a computer programmer for the Bank of Hawaii. Two years later, he was a refrigeration plant operator for the County of Los Angeles. Later on, he bought a grocery store in Mexico, and eventually wound up selling boiler feedwater chemicals there.

Eric Shapira practiced Dentistry for over 30 years on the Half Moon Bay Coastside. He received his Masters degree in Clinical Gerontology from Notre Dame de Namur University. He is an educator and has taught courses in “Healthy Aging” and “Successful Aging,” as well as courses in “Geriatric Esthetic Dentistry and Special Patient Care.”
